JUVÉDERM®
is the leading collection of fillers to temporarily lift & contour cheeks, smooth lines, or plump lips. How? It temporarily restores your skin’s volume with a modified form of hyaluronic acid. The Juvederm Collection has six different formulations of injectable fillers to address different aesthetic goals.

Types of Juvederm Filler
Juvederm Voluma is designed to add volume to the cheeks, providing a subtle lift and a more youthful contour. It’s ideal for restoring lost volume due to aging and can last up to 2 years.
Juvederm Vollure is used to soften moderate to severe facial lines and wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds. It provides long-lasting results, with effects that can last up to 18 months.
Juvederm Volux is specifically formulated for jawline definition, providing a strong, sculpted look. It’s perfect for enhancing the jawline and chin, offering results that last up to 18-24 months.
Juvederm Volbella is designed for lip augmentation and smoothing vertical lip lines. It provides a natural-looking enhancement with results that can last up to a year.
Juvederm Ultra is used for adding fullness and plumping lips, as well as for treating moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. It offers versatile results with longevity up to a year.
Juvederm Ultra Plus is a thicker formula than Juvederm Ultra, making it ideal for treating deeper facial lines and folds, as well as for adding significant volume to the lips. Results can last up to a year or more.
Skinvive by Juvederm is a specialized injectable treatment that uses a gentle hyaluronic acid (HA) formula to enhance skin hydration, smoothness, and elasticity. Unlike dermal fillers that add volume, Skinvive works by attracting moisture to the skin, resulting in a refreshed, radiant look. This treatment is ideal for those seeking a natural, subtle boost to their skin’s appearance.
JUVÉDERM FAQ
Juvderm dermal fillers are smooth, crystal-clear gels product formulated with Hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a pivotal building block of our skin and a naturally occurring substance already found in our bodies. HA is a natural substance in the skin that delivers nutrients, helps the skin retain moisture and softness, and adds volume. Each product in the Juvderm Collection of Fillers is made from a modified form of HA.
In addition to adding volume for anti-aging concerns, HA dermal fillers can be injected into areas of the face to help balance and contour facial features. Adding Juvederm Voluma to the jawline and chin can define and bring symmetry to the face.
Prior to treatment, you will have a consultation with your injector to discuss your goals, expectations, and determine which dermal filler products will be right for you. Juvederm injections are done in-office and take less than an hour. When you arrive for your appointment, photos will be taken and a topical numbing cream will be applied. Most HA fillers are infused with lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during and after treatment, and the topical numbing agent and icing helps to make the treatment more comfortable.
Your injector will slowly inject the Juvederm product to the specific areas of the face using a microcannula. Results are immediate and will improve in the next two weeks as you heal.
Your injector will apply ice immediately after your injections to minimize bruising. Since everyone heals differently, your recovery will depend on you. You may experience swelling, slight redness, tenderness and bruising as with any injectable treatment, this typically only lasts 3-5 days. Minimize bruising and swelling by avoiding heat, strenuous exercise and alcohol for 48 hours. Ageless also has products available for purchase to minimize common side effects.
Two weeks after your Juvederm Filler treatment the product will have fully integrated and swelling will have resolved. Results may last one year to two years, with optimal treatment and depending on the formula used. Please read each product description to see how long results last with each formula, based on what was observed in clinical studies. Results may vary patient and area dependent. We recommend scheduling your next filler treatment before you need it so you can maintain a natural looking and consistent result.
During clinical trials, patients reported mild itchiness, tenderness, swelling, and bruising at the injection site but these typically resolve within 2-weeks. Bumps and lumps can also develop, but this risk is reduced when you choose an experienced, reputable injector. Serious complications with Juvederm are rare and can be avoided by receiving treatment in a reputable aesthetics practice with experienced injectors, such as Ageless. Do not receive JUVÉDERM® injectable gel fillers if you have a history of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), or if you are allergic to lidocaine or the proteins (Gram-positive bacterial proteins) used to make hyaluronic acid (HA) in JUVÉDERM® injectable gel fillers.
